Pearl Rhein is an actor, multi-instrumentalist, composer and writer who appeared on Broadway in “Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812” and in The Public/Shakespeare in the Park’s “The Taming of the Shrew” directed by Phyllida Lloyd. Recently Pearl played Jo March in Kate Hamill’s adaptation of “Little Women” at The Dallas Theater Center, and will continue with that production in its West Coast debut at The Old Globe in 2021. Pearl originated the role of Bride Riordan in the musical "Transport" at The Irish Repertory Theatre, and has performed at Ars Nova, Red Bull, Arena Stage, A.R.T., The La Jolla Playhouse, The Alabama Shakespeare Festival, Playhouse on Park, The Weston Playhouse and People’s Light Theatre Co. TV credits include “Succession” (HBO), “The Blacklist”(NBC), and “Younger”(TVLand). A singer-songwriter and composer, she performs regularly with The Civilians, The Bushwick Book Club, Necromancers of the Public Domain, the Musical Theatre Factory and other groups. Pearl is currently writing a musical about radium and a novel about monsters. She plays over 15 instruments and teaches piano to very young people. MFA in Acting: UC San Diego. BA: Ball State University. Proud member of Ring of Keys, Maestra, SAG-AFTRA, Actors Equity, AFM, and ASCAP.
