Ryan Chittaphong

Ryan Chittaphong is a New York-based actor, comedian, and educator whose vibrant career spans stage, comedy, and teaching. He is a regular performer with house teams at the Upright Citizens Brigade, The Armory Comedy, and the acclaimed monthly comedy show “Entirely From Memory,” in residence at Littlefield in Brooklyn. Ryan is also a proud company member of the nationally renowned Story Pirates, bringing imaginative storytelling to audiences across the country.

As an actor, Ryan has collaborated on groundbreaking productions, including world premieres with Taylor Mac on The Hang (HERE Arts Center) and The Fre (Flea Theater). His regional and Off-Broadway credits include Arsenic and Old Lace and Finian’s Rainbow (Berkshire Theatre Group), The Fez (Flea Theater), Dry Powder (Arthur Seelen Theatre), Professor Brenner (HERE Arts Center), and classics like The Cherry Orchard and As You Like It (Harold Clurman Lab). Interestingly, he spent three years at the world-famous Grand Ole Opry as an official Hank Williams impersonator.

In addition to performing, Ryan is a dedicated educator at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting, where he teaches Acting Technique, Character, and Improvisation.
